So remember yesterday when I was saying Sydney's weight gain has slowed down? Ha! She weighs 6lbs 2oz today! They did bump her up to 49ccs on Thursday so that may have something to do with it.
I was starting to feel inadequate because I have such trouble burping her! Turns out ALL the nurses have trouble burping her. She just won't do it but when you look at her you can tell that she needs to. Poor baby. Besides that, everything else is good with her.

She is gaining like a champ... Awesome! I had that burping issue too with Lance Jr, it was frustrating, but you'll get through it.
Burping Tricks:
* Rub their back, not pat
* Pat their lower back
* If you put them on your shoulder, sit them on your lap and support under their chin. Then, let them "slump over", then slowly sit them up straight
* Burp them sitting up
* sit them up and rock them back and forth, while balancing them on their butt (make sense?)
If that doesn't work, she is just hard to burp. LOL
(Brandon was the worst burper)
