Sydney had a loong night. She's really struggling to breathe after being so heavily sedated. When she's awake and stimulated, she's fine but once she falls asleep she struggles. This is no surprise to the doctors given the high dosage of sedatives she received. They're contemplating moving her back to the CPAP for the day while she recovers but haven't made the final decision yet. We're praying that she continues to improve throughout the day.
She weighs 6lbs 9oz today. Big girl!

I was just checking on the MRI results. She's such a big girl. Even if she got moved to CPAP I'm sure it would be super short.

Poor Sydney (and poor mama and daddy). Don't be surprised if she goes back and forth from cannula to CPAP and back. They do whatever they have to to keep her comfortable. She is such a little trooper. 6 lbs 9 oz... you go sweetie! Growing like a weed already!
