A certain big girl had 6.75 of her 8 meals by bottle yesterday! By the time we got to the 7th bottle she was exhausted and would barely stay awake. She even lost a few grams of weight because her poor little body was working so hard!
She had a peaceful night and everything else is just fine with her.

I found you through another blog (which one escapes me), but wanted to say I totally feel your pain and joy about the NICU experience. It truly is a mixture of those two emotions for me. My twins were born at 28 weeks on Oct. 27, 2007, and are still in the NICU. Our homecoming will hopefully be within a few days for one of my boys, and within a week or so for the other.
Yeah for the great feedings. Yeah for getting one step closer. I wish you and your little one a speedy "escape" to the safety of your home!
