Forgot to mention this...
Sydney has her car seat test this evening as well. Many preemies have poor head control and in big seats they get poor support and their heads slump, flop forward or sideways. One out of five preemies have oxygen desaturation, apnea and bradycardia while in their car seats. She will need to sit in her seat for at least an hour without problems. We purchased a car seat that is highly recommended for preemies and has good support, so we're expecting her to pass with flying colours. Thanks for the car seat Uncle Dennis and Mom!

It won't be long now! I read up on the past few weeks and things sound great. Fabulous about the ROP and I'm glad that the feeding is going better. Make sure that you guys get one nice night out before the big homecoming day. I know that sounds petty, but the reality is that it will be a while before you feel comfortable leaving Sydney with anyone and it's important to have some you time now that it's clear that babygirl will be headed home soon.
You are almost there!!!! Is tonight still the overnighter? I am so very excited for the three of you!!!
Wow, God is soooo good! Happy to hear all that's happening. She has her Grandy now and she's coming out! Hey Grandy you are so loved! We'll be praying about the eating!

Yay the car seat test. You are almost there!! Whoo hoo!! So exciting! I agree with Abby... but not sure that is going to happen since you are rooming in tonight and tomorrow and she is supposed to come home on Sunday. Hopefully Grans will be around to perhaps take care of her for an evening so that you and B can have a date. Good luck sweetie. I am PRAYING SO HARD!!
