Day 4!

Just received the first update of the day.

Sydney had a good night and even received another feeding very early this morning. She's still breathing on her own and not back on the ventilator. Her nurse says she "only" had three heart rate drops during the night, which is significantly less than the other two nights that she was breathing on her own. She's tolerated being on her back, sides and tummy and no position seems to affect her vital signs at all and her breathing and heart rate remain steady.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. - Romans 8:18
