Our daughter, Sydney,was born at 26 weeks gestation weighing 1lb 10oz at birth and was 14 inches long. This is her story complete with some random ramblings from me.

It's her birthday present from Grandy. She got it a little early because Grandy is going out of town and she wanted to see her playing with it before she goes. Clearly Sydney has no objection to that.
She is doing awesome! BTW, I was VERY emotional the month leading up to Dane's birth...I think that when the babies are so sick in the NICU, Jesus takes over and carries us...but I still needed to mourn the experience at some point, and it hit around his birthday. I blogged about it alot around his birthday and it really helped me a lot to write down the events of the year prior and how they changed my life forever. I am looking forward to hearing Sydney's birth story, I continued to be healed by the stories I read from other NICU Moms. I thank God for the people that I have met through blogging!
